Beschrijving

Cerro de Bartolo (also known as Cerro de San Bartolomé) has great panoramic views and birds flying by. Sometimes the flight of Vale Gier and Dwergarend can be enjoyed very closely. They have their nests in the cliffs of this mountain range. Among the other birds you can spot are Slechtvalk, Slangenarend, Sperwer, Zwarte Wouw, Torenvalk, Raaf, Roodkopklauwier, Rode Patrijs, Grote Bonte Specht and Blauwe Rotslijster.

There are many paths and trails to explore the area. You can make a long circular walk from the beach, go up and back (about 15 km), but you can also park near the cliffs and make a short walk of 30 minutes.
