The ecological path of Toledo along the river Tagus is a nice place for birding near the citt. At this point near the university campus the path passes an island where Kauw, Blauwe Reiger, Koereiger, Kwak and Kleine Zilverreiger go to sleep in winter. In spring-summer herons nest here. The area can be good for surprises too.
