Arrozales de Isla Mayor are rice fields that attract an abundance of birds. From the beginning of the rice campaign with the flooding of the lands (June) until the harvest (November) and afterwards, the 40,000 hectares of cultivation make the area of special attention to all types of birds throughout the year, but especially during the summer, being continuously flooded. Wander through the different areas to see Ooievaar, Zwarte Ooievaar, Kievit, Lepelaar, Flamingo, Steltkluut, Zwarte Ibis, Blauwe Reiger, Purperkoet, et cetera.
