Little known area between Gredos and the Tagus River. Arenales del Baldío y Cerró del Molino de Velada is an area with many points of interest for birdwatching. In this case, the abundance of Bijeneter, the numerous Iberische Klapekster and the steppe and raptor birds stand out, including colonies of kites in the groves and streams and abundant nests of different species of birds. Mountain birds may appear during winter. See the birdlist below.

The area is indicated on the attached map. You have to go to Velada, near Talavera de la Reina, from the N 502. The area is also ideal for photography from the car.
