Beschrijving
Belo Brdo ('White Hill') is a Neolithic archeological site (4000 B.C.) in Vinča that is also a great place for gull watching. Thousands of gulls come to the Danube River near Vinča in winter. Slower Danube waters near Belo Brdo and nearby Belgrade city's main landfill are two locations where gulls gather at most. Between these two locations is a 'gull highway', with a myriad of gulls flying in both directions over the hilly slopes of Vinča.
Kokmeeuw, Geelpootmeeuw, and Pontische Meeuw are common in winter, while Stormmeeuw and Kleine Mantelmeeuw are very often spotted. Although they are pretty rare in Serbia, occasional sightings of Zilvermeeuw and Grote Mantelmeeuw, are not uncommon in Vinča.

There are two good spots to watch gulls in Vinča. One is near the archeological site Belo Brdo and the other, maybe even better, is at the ferry-place. Follow one of the 'P' markings on the map.
