The Tzaritzino lower pond area is located in a very nice city park that offers many species for a birder living in Moscow. Among the birds you can see or hear in the area are Casarca, Visdief, Zwarte Stern, Woudaap, Roodmus, Kwartelkoning and Struikrietzanger. And many more, see the birdlist below.

The Tzaritzino lower pond is located on the southern outskirts of Moscow. Access by car or by public transport. Follow the paths and search for birds around the lake and grassland areas. One of the places where you can park is along the road on the south side of the lake. Click on the P in the map for directions or coordinates. The circular route around the lake is about 5 km.
