Catalão is a rural agricultural area with scattered bushes and open fields. It is a very interesting area to visit when looking for migrating and resident birds. Among the birds you can encounter are Grijze Wouw, Dwergarend, Slangenarend, Vale Gier, Blauwe Ekster, Boomleeuwerik, Provençaalse Grasmus and Kleine Zwartkop.
