Hel Headland is a perfect place to observe seabirds during migrations. You can then observe the following birds, rare in this part of the Baltic Sea: Alk, Zeekoet, Zwarte Zeekoet, Drieteenmeeuw, Kleine Jager, as well as Grote Stern, Noordse Stern and, if you are lucky, sometimes you get Jan-van-gent.

You can reach the Hel Peninsula and the town of Hel by car, bicycle or train. You can park your car in the city or in a parking lot near the forest. Click on the P in the map for directions. From the town of Hel you can then walk or bike along the path through the forest. The train arrives at a station from which you can easily get to the city. Note: the Hel Peninsula is an extremely popular holiday destination in the summer season and then extremely crowded.

Polski: Na Półwysep Hel i do miasta Hel można przyjechać samochodem, rowerem oraz pociągiem. Samochód można zaparkować w mieście lub na parkingu przy lesie a poźniej przejść pieszo lub przejechać rowerem ścieżką przez las. Pociąg dojeżdża na stację z której można łatwo dostać się do miasta. Półwysep Helski jest niezwykle popularnym miejscem wypoczynku w sezonie letnim i wówczas ogromnie zatłoczonym.
