A characteristic feature of the Park Krajobrazowy Stawki is the presence of numerous streams, ponds and marshes. In these conditions, alder forests, low hornbeam forests and riparian forests developed. The most valuable forest areas are under protection as the ''Wielki Las nature reserve''. In addition to forests, peat bogs and mid-forest also meadows have developed in the park. Among the birds you can see are 6 species of woodpecker (Grote Bonte Specht, Kleine Bonte Specht, Syrische Bonte Specht, Middelste Bonte Specht, Groene Specht and Zwarte Specht) and also birds like Wielewaal, Boompieper, Zwarte Mees, Kuifmees, Glanskop, Matkop and Appelvink.
