A barrier reservoir on the Nysa Kłodzka river, in the Opolskie Voivodeship. The lake is located in the immediate vicinity of the district of Nysa city.

Currently, the Nyskie and Otmuchowskie Lakes together with the adjacent areas form the area of the Otmuchowsko-Nyskie Protected Landscape Area, there are many species of birds that are attracted to the reservoir. Among the birds that can be seen are Knobbelzwaan, Wintertaling, Pontische Meeuw, Bonte Strandloper, Bosruiter, Groenpootruiter, Oeverloper, Visdief and Grote Zilverreiger.
