The Mokrzec lagoon covers more than 230 hectares. The length of the reservoir is about 3 km and the average width is about 800 m. Around the Lagoon Mokrzec you can watch birds all year round. They are the most numerous during the spring and autumn migration, many ducks, songbirds, gulls and birds of prey stop here. Among the birds you can see here are Zeearend, Visdief, Reuzenstern, Witwangstern, Witvleugelstern, Bruine Kiekendief, Grote Zee-eend, Grote Zaagbek, Wilde Zwaan, Kleine Zwaan, Wintertaling, Waterral and Grote Karekiet.
