You can walk around Jezioro Barlineckie (Barlinek Lake). Due to the varied surroundings (town, meadows, forest, lake) along the way you can find water bird species, typically forest birds or different birds of open fields, as well as hunting birds of prey.

It is worth leaving the car in the town (click on the P in the map for directions) and going around the lake on foot or by bike. The circular route is about 11 km. The path is well marked and hardened enough - suitable for bicycle trips

An interesting fact of Barlinek is the so-called "Bird's Paradise". A place created by a pensioner who built about 200 nesting boxes and feeders on his plot near the city beach (marked on the map with a star).
