Vadsøya is an island in the city of Vadsø. The east side of the island is a nature park with a pond. The pond is a good place to see Grauwe Franjepoot. Other birds you can see along the shores and on sea are Eider, Stellers Eider, Koningseider, IJseend, Middelste Zaagbek, Grote Zaagbek, Paarse Strandloper, Rosse Grutto, Grote Burgemeester, Kleine Burgemeester, Roodkeelpieper, and Bonte Strandloper.
