Beschrijving
The Plompe Tower is the church tower (and only remnant) of Koudekerke. A former village on Schouwen-Duiveland that was once swallowed by the waves. This is good place to enjoy the view on the Oosterschelde and Schouwen-Duiveland. Many birds are attracted by the so calles 'inlages', low-lying, moist grasslands that are partly submerged. In spring you see Tureluur, Grutto, Kluut and Kokmeeuw. In the winter months, thousands of Brandgans and Rotgans forage on the brackish grassland.
