Very photogenic wadi at Imider. The eastern part of this wadi has also been described on Birdingplaces (see separate entry Imider Wadi East). But the western part of this wadi is also worth a visit. You have a chance to see Woestijnoehoe resting or nesting on the cliffs or to see many species of wheatear: Woestijntapuit, Westelijke Rouwtapuit, Roodstuittapuit, Zwarte Tapuit, Witkruintapuit and Tapuit. Other birds you can encounter are Woestijnvink, Woestijnleeuwerik, Thekla's Leeuwerik, Lannervalk, Roodkopklauwier, Kleine Zwartkop and Atlasarendbuizerd.

From the outskirts of Boumalne you drive 15 km to the east on the N10. There is a small parking along the road. Click on the P in the map for directions or coordinates. Opposite the parking a dirt road leads you to the wadi. It's a 1,5 km walk one way. Best time for a visit is March, April or May.
