Beschrijving
In the lower wooded part of the Magaro Mountain area, Central European woodland species can be expected, including Goudvink, Kleine Bonte Specht, tits and others. As soon as you leave the tree line behind, classic species of the high mountains can be observed, including Rotszwaluw, Strandleeuwerik, Rode Rotslijster, Alpenkauw and Waterpieper. There are regular sightings of the elusive and sought-after Steenpatrijs. In addition, Veldleeuwerik, Roodborsttapuit, Paapje and Grote Lijster can be found on the plains. It is worth keeping an eye on the sky to look for raptors such as Wespendief and Slangenarend.
