In this coastal area you can see waders, raptors, gulls, passerines and many other species. I made a first record there few months ago of a Reuzenstern.

Beschrijving

Aarida is a coastal strip along the Mediterranean in the north of Lebanon. This is an important area during autumn migration. Many birds may change direction there and may leave or receive new species. Among the birds you can encounter are Ooievaar, Steltkluut, Drieteenstrandloper, Zilverplevier, Bontbekplevier, Strandplevier, Kleine Plevier, Bonte Strandloper, Groenpootruiter, Dunbekmeeuw, Grote Gele Kwikstaart, IJsvogel, but also birds like Zwartbuikzandhoen.
