The saline di Carloforte are a wetland bordering the town of Carloforte. The salt marshes are easily reached by car, which can be used as a mobile hide. There is a path that runs along part of the salt pans. In the area there are wooden poles used as perches by some birds, especially in the evening. It is easy to observe birds, even from the car. Among the intersting birds are Dwergstern, Kluut and Flamingo.

You can leave your car in the car park at the port of Carloforte. Click on the P in the map for directions. From the car park you can continue on foot from the entrance to the salt pans along the route.
