Parco dell'Amicizia Tezze sul Brenta offers good birding along the Brenta river. The area is easy accessible and has many viewpoint and different habitats to explore. Among the birds you can encounter are Koekoek, Roerdomp, Woudaap, Purperreiger, Grote Zilverreiger, Kleine Zilverreiger, Koereiger, Kleine Bonte Specht and IJsvogel.

From Vicenza take the regional road 53 to Treviso, turn left for San Pietro in Gu (PD), cross the town and then take the provincial road 26 (then 52) towards Bassano del Grappa. Shortly after Scaldaferro di Pozzoleone, turn right to Friola di Pozzoleone, cross the Ponte sul Brenta and immediately after turn left. Follow the the signs for the 'Parco dell'Amicizia'. The circular walk indicated on the map is about 6,5 km long.
