Parco Dell'Adige Sud is a large natural open landscape with many trees, bushes, small ponds and tiny streams that join the big Adige river. The first part is ideal for birds of open habitats such as Torenvalk, Fazant or Groene Specht. If you follow the small stream it leads you to an open area with small ponds where you can observe wetland birds such as Kleine Zilverreiger or Waterhoen and raptors, for example Buizerd. On the river Adige you can also see many river birds, for example ducks, Meerkoet or Aalscholver.
If you follow the way along the riverside you can listen to the songs of Zwartkop, Tjiftjaf and Cetti's Zanger. If you then come back to the town you can see many urban birds such as Turkse Tortel, Europese Kanarie, Spreeuw, Gierzwaluw and many swallows.

Italiano: Il Parco dell'Adige Sud è un ampio paesaggio naturale aperto con molti alberi, cespugli, piccoli stagni e minuscoli ruscelli che si ricongiungono al grande fiume Adige. La prima parte è l'ideale per gli uccelli che vivono in habitat aperti, come il Torenvalk, il Fazant o il Groene Specht. Se segui il ruscello, questo ti condurrà a un'area aperta con piccoli stagni dove puoi osservare uccelli acquatici come la Kleine Zilverreiger o la Waterhoen e rapaci, ad esempio la Buizerd. Sul fiume Adige puoi vedere anche molti uccelli fluviali, come anatre, la Meerkoet o il Aalscholver.
Se segui il sentiero lungo la riva del fiume, puoi ascoltare i canti della Zwartkop, del Tjiftjaf e dell' Cetti's Zanger. Tornando poi verso la città, puoi vedere molti uccelli urbani come la Turkse Tortel, il Europese Kanarie, lo Spreeuw, il Gierzwaluw e molte rondini.

Parco dell’Adige Sud is located on the southeastern outskirts of Verona, about a 3 km walk from the city center. The area is also easily accessible by bus or car. Press P on the map for directions to a parking. Also the Verona Porta Vescovo train station (1) is within walking distance of the park. The suggested walking route on the map is about 5 km.
