There are many species that can be observed in the laguna Veneta all seasons of the year. For some years there are also Flamingo breeding. Other special birds you could see here are Slechtvalk, Scharrelaar, Kuifkoekoek, Casarca, Witoogeend, Koereiger and Wulp. A total amount of over 450 thousand waterfowl live throughout the lagoon. And today there are more than 8,000 Flamingo that winter in the lagoon.
