Lake Patria or Lago Patria is the largest coastal lake in Campania, with an area of 2 km². It has a characteristic heart shape. The lake is fed by modest freshwater streams and some springs, but also by a canal which connects it to the sea and allows the entry of salt water. Lake Patria hosts a rich fauna of marsh birds. The lagoon is a fundamental stop for birds during their migrations, so you can see many ducks, waders, herons and passerines here.

Il lago è alimentato da modesti corsi d'acqua dolce e da alcune sorgenti, ma anche da un canale che lo collega al mare e consente l'ingresso di acqua salata. Il Lago Patria ospita una ricca fauna di uccelli palustri. La laguna è una tappa fondamentale per gli uccelli durante le loro migrazioni, quindi qui si possono vedere molte anatre, trampolieri, aironi e passeriformi.
