Around Cima Grappa throughout the year, numerous species of birds can be seen. Some nesting, others wintering, others still passing through during migrations. Wide meadows, stony expanses, cliffs and overhangs, all these diverse spots offer space for the breeding of iconic species such as the Rode Rotslijster, or they offer the opportunity to observe Beflijster , Tapuit , Grijze Gors , Alpenkauw , Steenpatrijs , Steenarend , Alpengierzwaluw , Huiszwaluw , together with important numbers of mammals such as Roe deer, Alpine chamois, Marmots.
