The Area of Torrazzuolo is a naturalistic area of more than 115 hectares. It is characterized by canals and ditches, lakes, reeds, reforestation and an extensive lattice of hedges and tree-lined rows that make it a place of high environmental value. A little wetland where you can encounter some interesting species like Blauwe Reiger, Buidelmees, Grauwe Gans, Bruine Kiekendief, Woudaap, Ralreiger and Kwak.

From the little city of Nonantola move towoards Bologna and follow the indications for the Are Il Torrazzuolo. There is a little place to park your car and after you can continue by foot always following the road signs.
