The area surrounding the Tiss National Garden is a striking ecological crossroads where the rugged, sun-bleached cliffs of the Shahbazband Mountain meet the lush greenery of a tropical oasis. The garden itself functions as a dense botanical sanctuary, packed with thousands of plant species like the sacred fig and guava, creating a humid, vibrant microclimate that stands in stark contrast to the arid, sedimentary landscapes nearby. Beyond the garden walls, the habitat transitions quickly into intertidal zones, sandy beaches, and ancient rocky outcrops, offering a rare blend of desert, mountain, and coastal environments all in one view.
For birdwatchers, this site is a premier destination because it hosts species typically found in the Indian subcontinent rather than the rest of the Middle East. Throughout the year, you can spot Asian Koel, Indian Roller and Spotted Owlet.

As the garden is located in the Tiss Village and is only 10 km away from Chabahar, private car is the best and probably only option (or using online taxi apps). There would not be a problem parking around the garden. Press P on the map for directions. You can spend 1 or 2 hours exploring Tiss Garden.
