Beschrijving
Le Grand Pré is a wetland with a pleasant walk and a small hide overlooking a body of water during autumn / winter and spring. Can dry out during high summer months. During spring and autumn the reedbed supports large numbers of migrating Kleine Karekiet and Rietzanger, and Boerenzwaluw and Oeverzwaluw use the area as a roost. A morning visit shows it to its best advantage with sunshine lighting up the reeds. Among the other birds you can spot in the area are Grote Gele Kwikstaart, Witte Kwikstaart, Sperwer, Waterral, Koolmees, Pimpelmees, Watersnip and Grote Bonte Specht.
