Several kilometers southeast of Agiasos, the sanatorium is located. The surrounding pine forests are great for breeding Turkse Boomklever. Other species that can be found here are Balkanbergfluiter and Europese Kanarie, besides more common species like Middelste Bonte Specht and Boomkruiper.
