Beschrijving
The pond of Rixdorfer Teich is popular with typical urban birds like Staartmees, Roodborst and Gaai, as well as waterfowl like Knobbelzwaan, Mandarijneend and Waterhoen.
Some of the usual Koolmees are very used to humans and will even take seeds from the hand. There is a family of Buizerd that live in the park, and one or two are usually hanging around in the trees near the pond. In summer many Boerenzwaluw circle over the pond, and in autumn and winter there are always lots of Putter in the alders next to the pond.
