Beschrijving
The cultivated grassland "Randowbruch" adjoins traditional forests and offers great opportunities for almost all Central European bird of prey species, especially in spring and summer. Schreeuwarend, Wespendief, Ruigpootbuizerd (in winter), Zeearend, Rode Wouw, Zwarte Wouw, all falcons (including almost annual records of Roodpootvalk), Harriers (Bruine Kiekendief, unregularly Grauwe Kiekendief in summer, Blauwe Kiekendief in winter season) can be seen in good numbers and at close range. Rarities like Grijze Wouw and Keizerarend have been recorded.
In addition, typical grassland species like Kievit, Wulp or Wagtails can be observed. Also Sperwergrasmus, Grauwe Klauwier and Graspieper hold territory in the area.
