The Lennemündung (Lenne estuary) has a small elongated island in the middle. Among the birds you can encounter in this area are IJsvogel, Grote Canadese Gans, Wilde Eend, Grauwe Gans, Fuut, Waterral, Knobbelzwaan, Buizerd and Rode Wouw.
