Beschrijving
The Leipheimer Moos is a beautiful moorland with wide areas for Bruine Kiekendief as well as the rare Kwartelkoning, Gele Kwikstaart, Sprinkhaanzanger and migratory Graspieper. In the reed areas north of the border ditch Blauwborst likes to sing, in the cattle pastures Roodborsttapuit and along the boardwalk circuit (the boardwalk itself is unfortunately closed) Draaihals, Nachtegaal, Watersnip, Kievit, Grasmus, Koekoek, Fazant and Zwarte Specht can be heard or seen.
Also worth a visit in autumn/winter when there are Blauwe Kiekendief, Klapekster, Velduil, Kolgans and Kraanvogel.
