Beschrijving
The Hainberg is an open area, but also partly covered with forest. Bird watching here is most worthwhile in summer, when Grauwe Klauwier, Wielewaal, Waterspreeuw, Middelste Bonte Specht, Zwarte Specht, Gekraagde Roodstaart and Draaihals can be seen. At the small pond and the river you can watch IJsvogel as well as geese, ducks and Aalscholver in the forest. And of course other typical forest birds.
