Beschrijving
Grube Cox has mixed forest with lakes and ponds. Krakeend, Tafeleend and Aalscholver spend the winter on the lakes. Grote Lijster can be seen in the poplars on the edges of the lake. In the forest, with a bit of luck, there are Kleine Bonte Specht , Middelste Bonte Specht, Appelvink and Goudvink.
In winter Koperwiek and Keep can also be seen. At night you can see Houtsnip, hear Bosuil call and very occasionally Oehoe. During migration I saw Visarend hunt, but it is rare to observe them here. From a herpetological point of view, it is also worth a visit, as you can observe sand lizards, grass snakes and common midwife toad here.
