Beschrijving
The Entenfang nature reserve is located in the town of Wesseling. It is an Old Rhine channel that is supplied with water from the Dickopsbach stream in the south and the Palmersdorfer stream from the north. In 1969 the area was placed under nature conservation because of its special position for resting and breeding waders (limicoles). In order to improve the attractiveness for birds, the water level is lowered annually at the beginning of the migration season.

Toegang
The Entenfang nature reserve is located on the western edge of the town of Wesseling and can be reached on foot or by bike from the town. Entenfang has a free parking. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. From the parking you can explore the area on foot and walk to a platform with views over the lake.
