The trail leading to both the old Nancibo quarry and the Montagne des Chevaux allows you to encounter both species from open environments disturbed by human activities as well as certain species from primary forest canopy.
Birds you can observe along the trail include: Variable Chachalaca, Little Hermit, White Hawk, Boat-billed Flycatcher, Pale-vented Pigeon, Guianan Streaked-Antwren, Black Curassow, Crimson Topaz, Straight-billed Hermit, Fasciated Antshrike, Ringed Antpipit, Rufous-tailed Flatbill, Fork-tailed Palm-Swift, Gray-lined Hawk, Black-throated Trogon, Black-tailed Trogon, Purple-breasted Cotinga, Dusky Purpletuft, Chapman's Swift, Ruddy-tailed Flycatcher, Violaceous Euphonia, Amazonian Pygmy-Owl, Red-throated Caracara, Epaulet Oriole, Spotted Puffbird, Guianan Gnatcatcher, Reddish Hermit, Black-spotted Barbet, Chestnut Woodpecker, Rufous-throated Antbird, Gray-headed Kite, Swallow-tailed Kite, Lineated Woodpecker, Blue-chinned Sapphire, Bronzy Jacamar, Capuchinbird, Amazonian Barred-Woodcreeper, Green Honeycreeper, Black-necked Aracari, Blue-headed Parrot, Golden-sided Euphonia, Golden-headed Manakin, Spotted Tanager, Black-bellied Cuckoo, White-throated Toucan, Channel-billed Toucan, Waved Woodpecker, Painted Parakeet, Mouse-colored Antshrike, Purple-throated Fruitcrow, White-bearded Manakin, Pompadour Cotinga, Yellow-green Grosbeak, Paradise Tanager, Blue Dacnis, Purple Honeycreeper, Paradise Jacamar.

Français: La zone est un sentier menant à l'ancienne carrière de Nancibo, la piste longe des zones semi ouvertes et la canopée de foret primaire. La piste menant à la fois à l'ancienne carrière de Nancibo et à la montagne des cheveux permet de rencontrer aussi bien des espèces de milieux ouvert est perturbées par les activitées humaines mais aussi certaines espèces de canopée de forêt primaire.

To get to the track, take the N2 towards Regina and park at the gate opposite the Beauséjour track. Press P on the map for directions. You have to go behind the gate that says "propriété privé" (private property). Access is very easy. Bring good shoes.

Français: Pour se rendre sur la piste il faut prendre la N2 vers Régina et se garer au niveau du portail en face de la piste de Beauséjour. Il faut passer derrière le portail qui indique "propriété privé". (l'accès est très facile). Prévoir de bonne chaussures.
