Made up of different habitats, the coastline of Saint-Vaast offers a mosaic of possibilities for the birds that come to probe the mudflats of the bay or fish in the open sea. Among the birds that you can encounter are Zwarte Zee-eend, IJseend, Middelste Zaagbek, Roodhalsfuut, Paarse Strandloper, Rosse Grutto, Wulp and Eider.
