National reserve De la mare de Vauville has a variety of environments and therefore a nice variety of birds. The area offers plenty of space, a wide site which allows a lot of tranquility. Seabirds and dolphins are visible from the beach and the interior allows you to discover the birds of the reeds and open areas. Landscape from the end of the world!

Français: C'est un site magnifique de 60 hectares classée depuis 1976. Un cordon dunaire sépare la plage d'une mare d'eau douce de 2km de long. Paysage de bout du monde ! Il y a une variété de milieux permettant une belle variété d'oiseaux dans un site étandu qui permet beaucoup de tranquillité. Les oiseaux de mer et les dauphins sont visibles de la plage et l'interieur permet de découvrir les oiseaux des roseaux et des zones ouvertes.

If you arrive in La Hague by the D901 (which comes from Cherbourg or Les Pieux), enter Beaumont-Hague and turn left to take the D138 which goes towards Vauville. You will arrive from the heights with one of the most beautiful views of the department, between the Cap de Flamanville to the south and the Nez de Jobourg to the north. Parking lots on the side of the road allow you to enjoy the scenery !!

Français: Si vous arrivez dans la Hague par la D901 (qui vient de Cherbourg ou des Pieux), entrez dans Beaumont-Hague et tournez à gauche pour prendre la D138 qui va vers Vauville. Vous arriverez par les hauteurs avec une des plus belle vue du département, entre le Cap de Flamanville au sud et le Nez de Jobourg au nord. Des parkings sur le bord de la route permettent de profiter du paysage !!
