Réserve naturelle du Bagnas is very interesting in terms of the variety of habitats, from marshes to reed beds. The area attracts egrets, herons, waders, Bruine Kiekendief, Flamingo, Purperkoet, Visarend and many other birds. The reserve is only accessible at one place. On the main pond Étang du Bagnas there is a bird hide with a long viewing platform. Note that the rest of the reserve is not open to the public.

Français: La réserve naturelle du Bagnas est un mélange de plusieurs milieux parfait pour observer les oiseaux. Cette zone humide s'étant sur 561 hectares. Cette zone humide est très intéressante dû à la variété de ses milieux offrant un cadre de vie à multiples espèces comme par exemple le busard des roseaux, des aigrettes, des hérons, des flamants roses, des limicoles et bien d'autres oiseaux de toutes les tailles.

Réserve naturelle du Bagnas is located between Marseillan and Marseillan Plage. The reserve is unfortunately not open to the public with the exception of an observation hide providing a view of a large part of the main pond. There is also a guided tour every Saturday (for more info, see the link below). The area is accessible by car or bike with parking of around ten spaces directly at the viewing platform. Click on the P in the map for directions.

Français: Ce site n'est malheureusement pas en libre circulation au public à l'exception d'un site d'observation laissant une vision sur une grande partie de l'étang principale mais aussi de visite guidée tous les samedis .
