Beschrijving

Neuvry is a very good spot for waterbirds, and also for local rarities. Zwartkopmeeuw and Kokmeeuw breed in small numbers, as do Krooneend , Kuifeend and Geoorde Fuut. Koereiger , Grote Zilverreiger and Kleine Zilverreiger are all regular. Waders are quite common in stopover, especially Tringa sandpipers. Bokje winters in the area.

Dwergmeeuw , Witwangstern, Zwarte Stern and Visarend are regular. This also a good place for ducks in migration period. Among the recent rarities are Poelruiter , Ralreiger , IJseend , Roodhalsfuut , Temmincks Strandloper and Noordse Stern.
