In Marais Alcalin de Chicheboville-Bellengreville around a hundred species of birds have been recorded. Breeding birds include IJsvogel, Rietzanger, Rietgors, Bruine Kiekendief and Waterral. As a migratory stopover, Visarend and Roerdomp are noted. In the woodlands Kleine Bonte Specht and Wielewaal are regularly observed.

Une centaine d'espèces d'oiseaux a été inventoriée. Parmi les nicheurs, on peut citer le IJsvogel, Rietzanger, Rietgors, Bruine Kiekendief, Waterral. Park in the hamlet of Chicheboville (parking lot of the old town hall) and follow the Tethys path which will take you into the marsh. Click on the P in the map for directions to the parking. The walking route indicated on the map is about 4 km.
