Lac de Pelleautier is a nice lake with reed beds that harbour many birds. The Grote Karekiet and the Woudaap breed around the lake. Many other species are passing through during migration or stay at the lake for overwintering. Other birds you can see here are Slobeend, Krooneend, Purperreiger, Dodaars, Fuut, Zwartkop, Nachtegaal and Waterral.
