La Paracou is a charming small beach with dunes located close to the town of Les Sables-d'Olonne. Along the coastline you can observe birds such as Scholekster, Bontbekplevier, Bonte Strandloper, Drieteenstrandloper, Steenloperand Kleine Zilverreiger. In the dunes birds as Veldleeuwerik and Sprinkhaanzanger. Above sea birds such as Jan-van-gent, Grote Jager, Vale Pijlstormvogel, Grote Stern and Drieteenmeeuw. For watching the seabirds you will need a spotting scope because the birds are often at a great distance.
