This long sandy beach and dune area is located in the middle of a protected natural area. On the beach and along the two small wetlands you can see many birds. Be careful, due to the nesting of protected species, dogs are prohibited in the area. Among the birds you can encounter in the area are Roodborsttapuit, Kievit, Dwergstern, Grote Stern, Strandplevier, Scholekster, Drieteenstrandloper, Regenwulp, Zwartkopmeeuw and Rosse Grutto.
