This large pond is home to nice nesting species as Krooneend, Tafeleend, Kuifeend, Krakeend, Rietzanger, Purperreiger. In the surrounding bocage, Grauwe Klauwier, Boomleeuwerik,Grauwe Kiekendief are also nesting.
In winter, the pond can be hosting Wintertaling, Tafeleend, Kuifeend, Smient and several vagrants. The place is also really great in times of migration with lots of passerines in the hedgerows and waterfowl on the pond.
