Col du Soulor is a good place for observing the migration of diurnal raptors. But the pass is also very interesting because of sedentary species such as Lammergier and Vale Gier. Very present on this site is also Steenarend and it is possible to see Aasgier here too. In the surrounding forests you can also see very interesting species of passerines such as Kruisbek, Gekraagde Roodstaart or even Tapuit. There is also a bird migration counting post (1 on the map). Members of the "Oiseaux Cols Libres" association carry out a count of migrating birds. The autumn bird migration is particularly worthwhile here.

Col privilégié de passage pour la migration des rapaces diurnes, présence aussi d'espèces sédentaire très intéressantes comme le Lammergier, le Vale Gier très présent sur le site ou encore Aasgier ou encore Steenarend. Starting from Arrens-marsous or Arbéost, climb the pass. There is a parking lot. Press a P in the map to get directions to a parking. The pass is also accessible via the walking trail of GR10.
