Bocage et Prairies d'Ouroux-sur-Saône is made up of several interesting habitats for birds. The bocage made up mainly of old pollarded ash trees is home to Braamsluiper and Grasmus. There you also find Wielewaal, Koekoek and Grauwe Klauwier. Some plots are managed in a way that they are an ideal habitat for Sprinkhaanzanger. In the meadows you can find the classic species of the Saône Valley such as Wulp, Paapje and more recently Graszanger.

Français: Situé en zone Natura 2000, ce site constitue l'un des derniers ensemble bocager du val de Saône en Bourgogne. Le site est composé de plusieurs habitats intéressants pour les oiseaux. Le bocage constitué principalement de vieux frêne têtard abrite la Braamsluiper ou encore la Grasmus. On y retrouve également le Wielewaal, le Koekoek ou bien la Grauwe Klauwier. Certaines parcelles sont gérées en mégaphorbaies qui constitue un habitat idéal pour la Sprinkhaanzanger. Dans les prairies on retrouve les espèces classiques du val de Saône comme le Wulp, le Paapje ou plus récemment la Graszanger.

Bocage et Prairies d'Ouroux-sur-Saône is located between the town of Ouroux-sur-Saône and the river Saône. The site is accessed either through the village of Marnay or through Ouroux-sur-Saône via the D6. Click on the P in the map for directions. The circular route indicated on the map is about 1 km.
