Beschrijving
The Bruksviken area is an important water bird area where many waterfowl nest during the summer. Migrating birds also like to rest here which offers a chance to spot a wide variety of birds in the area. Grote Canadese Gans, Brandgans, Grauwe Gans, Knobbelzwaan, Wilde Zwaan, Wintertaling and Blauwe Reiger can be seen during migration season and sometimes waders like Rosse Grutto, Wulp and Zwarte Ruiter stop by too. Grote Zilverreiger and Grauwe Franjepoot have been sighted here a few times as well. During summer months there are cows grazing among the reeds as part of a program to keep the bay area open for birdlife.
