The tip of Cape Sõrve has an open and walkable beach with a big lighthouse. Before the tip of the peninsula there are lot's of juniper bushes. In these bushes over the years many rarities have been found.

During winter many Paarse Strandloper, Zeearend and Sneeuwgors can be found. Sometimes it's possible to see Drieteenmeeuw and Stellers Eider.

In spring and autumn the migration is spectacular, for example more than half a million Vink and 30,000 Houtduif have been counted in just a single day. Over 200 species are recorded in this area each year.
