est visited from November to Spring at high tide. It attracts a lot of shorebirds. The area is dry in the hot summer months.

Update 2025: Construction of villas is now very close to this location.

The small wooden hut on Mangroovy Beach offers protection from the sun and wind. As of July 2024, construction of private villas along this beach has begun. When the big tides return and flood the area in November I will report back and sightings will be on eBird.

Among the birds you can see here are Wulp, Westelijke Rifreiger, Groenpootruiter, Visarend, Bontbekplevier, Tureluur and Strandplevier.

Either walk along the beach from Smokery Beach Bar or take a Tok Tok to the end of Mangroovy Residence.
