Kværs Heath is an old wandering dune which has been stopped with the planting of trees. The area is a mix of trees, open spaces with heath and ponds. There is a chance to spot the increasingly rare Matkop. Among the other birds you can encounter are Grauwe Klauwier, Klapekster, Groene Specht, Grote Bonte Specht, Zwarte Specht, Kuifmees, Taigaboomkruiper and Goudhaan. The area has also been visited by Boomleeuwerik, Hop and Notenkraker.
